Years ago when I graduated from aesthetics school where I learned the basics of Swedish massage, I wasn’t equipped with this knowledge. I have learned the sequence of moves, draping and proper etiquette. Nothing about the emotional side of massaging, the energy exchange, the healing properties of touch or the actual “art” of massaging.
Yes, I consider massaging an art. The art of Touch. An art that I’ve been cultivating for almost two decades.
